10/31/08 - Flint house fire, Alma & Fulton

On Friday, October 31, 2008, around 4:10 AM, a house fire was reported at the corner of Alma & Fulton in Flint. Flint firefighters arrived to find a one story wood frame vacant home with fire that had already burned through the roof. Battalion arrived on scene and confirmed this would be another fire that would be allowed to burn. Exposures were not a major concern, but a live electrical line dropped in the front yard after burning off the house connection. Flint Engine 51 and Squad 2 stood by the scene.
