10/31/08 - Flint house fire, 111 Edmund & Esther

At approximately 12:25 AM on Friday, October 31, 2008, Flint firefighters were sent to a house fire at 111 Edmund at the corner of Esther. Crews arrived to find a small fire that had been set on the front porch and extended up into the roof. An interior attack was made with an attack line and the fire was quickly brought down. Firefighters from Genesee Township and Swartz Creek assisted the Flint Fire Department as part of a task force response to this call.
