12/11/07 - Delhi Twp car into the river, Waverly & Pleasant River Dr
On Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 9:57 AM, an Ingham County Sheriff deputy policing a non injury accident witnessed an approaching car loose control on slippery roads and go over an embankment into the Grand River. After calling for rescue crews to respond, the deputy pulled up to the scene to find the driver had self extricated and was walking out of the river on his own. The Delhi Township Fire Department arrived to treat his minor inuries and exposure before transporting him to a local hospital. Shroyers Towing was called in to remove the car from the river.
