7/20/22 - Lansing house fire, 4918 Eastlawn

The Lansing Fire Department responded to a house fire at 4918 Eastlawn at about 6:20 PM on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. The fire was located at the end of a dead end street and was reported by neighbors. On arrival, heavy smoke was visible from a 1-1/2 story single family dwelling. Initial crews made entry for search and to locate the fire, but were withdrawn shortly afterward when heavy fire started venting through the roof on the C side. Command switched to a defensive posture until the flames were brought under control.
