3/30/22 - Mason pole barn fire, 84 Kingman Rd

Shortly after 8:30 AM on Wednesday., March 30, 2022, the Mason, Delhi Twp, and Eaton Rapids Twp fire departments were dispatched to a pole barn fire at 84 Kingman Rd. Command saw a large column of smoke while still en route and requested that Windsor Twp also be dispatched on mutual aid. Delhi Twp Engine 21 was first to arrive and immediately deployed handlines on an approximately 20x30 pole barn that was fully engulfed. Since entry into the structure was too dangerous, firefighters had to work to gain access to all areas of the barn to completely extinguish the fire and complete overhaul.
