9/24/21 - Mason extrication, 4696 Bunker Rd

Just before 7:30 AM on Friday, September 24, 2021, the Mason Fire Department and Lansing-Mason Ambulance Service were dispatched to a car vs tree crash with entrapment in front of 4696 Bunker Rd. Lansing-Mason Ambulance was first to arrive, reporting a single vehicle that was on its side in the street. One occupant was in the vehicle with non-life threatening injuries. When firefighters arrived, they stabilized the vehicle, removed the glass from the windshield and sunroof, then cut out the portion of the roof between those two points in order to make an adequate opening to assist the occupant out of the car. Patient care was given to the ambulance personnel. Once the vehicle was uprighted, fire personnel cleared the scene.
