8/14/21 - Delhi Twp apartment fire, 2141 N. Aurelius

The Delhi Township and Lansing fire departments were dispatched to a structure fire at 2141 N. Aurelius in Delhi Township on Saturday morning, August 14, 2021 at 6:48 AM. First arriving command had smoke showing from the building, a patient needing treatment in the front yard, and several occupants of the building needing rescue from the upper floors. Additional ambulances were requested to the scene and Lansing sent an extra engine company for manpower. While a crew entered to extinguish the fire, multiple ladders were deployed around the building to assist with occupant egress. The fire was quickly knocked down as all floors were searched to be sure everyone had evacuated. One patient was transported by EMS to an area hospital.
