11/10/21 - Lansing Twp apartment fire, 914-B Westfield Dr

At 10:20 AM on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, the Lansing Twp and Delta Twp fire departments were dispatched to a fire in an apartment at 914 Westfield Dr. A neighbor called this in reporting smoke coming from a 3rd floor window. On arrival, command found smoke showing from the eaves and the roof of a 2 story brick multi-residential occupancy. When Engine 51 arrived, they were directed to enter the building from the "C" side for fire attack. Firefighters made a quick knockdown and the fire was contained to the apartment of origin. Areas were checked for extension and overhaul completed. No injuries were reported.
