10/25/21 - Delta Twp, fire in a commercial bldg, 7416 W. Saginaw

Just after 2:30 PM on Monday, October 25, 2021, the Delta Twp, Grand Ledge, and Lansing Twp fire departments were dispatched to a fire in a commercial building at 7416 W. Saginaw in Delta Twp. Light colored smoke was visible on arrival at a Burger King restaurant, with employees reporting a fire inside the kitchen vents. As firefighters investigated, command requested a 2nd alarm due to the potential of extension into the roof of the building. Investigating personnel found the fire was contained to the vents with no extension, so the 2nd alarm resources were released. The building was ventilated and overhaul completed before firefighters cleared.
