10/12/19 - Charlotte grain rescue training

On Saturday morning, October 12, 2019, the Charlotte Fire Department conducted a training session on grain rescue. Several Eaton County departments participated. After a brief classroom portion and a demonstration in the station, participants went to the Eaton County Co-Op where a training area was set up to perform practical exercises using different equipment. Personnel then were invited to tour the inside of one of the silos to become familiar with their operation and hazards.
