4/11/13 - Delhi Twp smoke investigation, 539 Baldwin Rd

Just after 11:30 AM on Thursday, April 11, 2013, the Delhi Township Fire Department was dispatched for a report of smoke coming from the crawl space under a house at 539 Baldwin Rd in their coverage area of Alaiedon Township. When police on scene confirmed smoke showing from the crawl space and very limited access, responding command requested mutual aid from the Mason Fire Department for an engine & tanker. Mason Engine 809 was the first apparatus on scene and quickly deployed their preconnect lines to advance into the crawl space for investigation. After gaining access and determining there was no active fire, the space was ventilated. Personnel discovered an electrical problem with no fire extension.
