7/11/12 - Mason grass fire, 3100 block of Plains Rd

On Wednesday, July 11, 2012, the Mason Fire Department responded to a small grass fire on Plains Rd west of Tuttle Rd at 6:25 PM. A small area of grass was found burning along the ditchbank on the north side of the road. The fire was easily controlled and foam was used to prevent rekindle of wood in the burned area.
