7/17/11 - Delhi Twp field fire, 3400 block of Every Rd

At approximately 12:30 PM on Sunday, July 17, 2011, the Delhi Township Fire Department was dispatched to a wheat field fire on Every Rd just off Jolly Rd in Alaiedon Township. With reports of possible agricultural equipment involved and a large plume of smoke visible to responding units from several miles away, mutual aid was requested from several departments prior to the first units arriving. Delhi firefighters had assistance from Meridian Township, Williamston and Mason fire departments with controlling this fire.
