4/3/10 - Dansville grass fire, 2320 S. Meridian Rd

Saturday, April 3, 2010. High winds blew burning paper from a burn barrel into tall grass producing this fire which involved old wagons and farm implements. Due to the rough terrain and high winds blowing into a large natural area, mutual aid was requested from Mason Fire for a grass rig, but Dansville firefighters were able to contain the blaze before they arrived.
