6/6/05 - Jackson house fire, 901 Second

In the afternoon of Monday, June 6, 2005, the Jackson Fire Department responded to a house fire at the corner of Morrell & Second. Automatic mutual aid responded from the Blackman Township Dept of Public Safety, the Leoni Township and Summit Township fire departments. Aerial ladders from both Jackson and Blackman were out of service for repairs so additional mutual aid was requested from the Spring Arbor Fire Department for their aerial to assist with extinguishing the fire in this 2 1/2 story wood frame dwelling.
