4/17/04 - Mason barn fire, 5351 Bunker Rd

At approximately 9 AM on Saturday, April 17, 2004, the Mason Fire Department was dispatched to an illegal burning complaint, of an old barn, at 5351 Bunker Rd. Arriving firefighters found that the structure was already on the ground but still burning. Mutual aid was requested from the Eaton Rapids Twp, Leslie and Onondaga fire departments for tankers. Onondaga supplied a brush truck at a drafting site to refill tankers in the shuttle.
