12/4/22 - Delhi Twp barn fire, 634 Grovenburg Rd

At 3:18 AM on Sunday, December 4, 2022, the Delhi Twp, Eaton Rapids Eaton Rapids Twp, Windsor Twp, and Mason fire departments were dispatched to a structure fire at 634 Grovenburg Rd. First arriving units found a fully involved barn with extension to a small out building, a small residential structure, and several cars. Firefighters made entry to the residential structure to attack the fire that was extending into there, the rest of the fires were handled by an exterior attack. An additional tanker was requested from the Onondaga Fire Department. After the fire was knocked down, excavation equipment was called in to knock down parts of the unstable barn so that the fire could be completely extinguished. As the sun rose in the morning, firefighters were able to start picking up and return to service.
