11/9/22 - Taymouth Twp field fire, 2581 Busch

As crews were finishing up at one field fire on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, another was dispatched only a few minutes away. Taymouth Twp firefighters were sent to 2581 Busch Rd for a fire involving approximately 3 acres of corn field. Taymouth requested assistance prior to arrival, so crews from Spaulding Twp, Frankenmuth, and Birch Run were released from assisting Bridgeport to respond to this fire also. The fire was burning in a field of cut corn stubble and was headed toward a wooded area before firefighters cut it off.
