9/7/19 - Rives-Tompkins Twp mobile home fire, 8120 Lansing Rd

On Saturday morning, September 7, 2019, at around 6:45 AM, the Rives-Tompkins Twp fire department responded to a report of a house fire at 8120 Lansing Rd. The Blackman-Leoni, Henrietta, and Leslie fire departments were dispatched on automatic aid to a report that the rear of the house was fully engulfed. Rives Engine 3 was first to arrive, finding a single wide mobile home with a detached garage, heavy fire involving the rear of the home. 2 preconnects were pulled and a supply line was dragged to the road to connect to tanker support. The fire was quickly knocked down from the outside with minor overhaul required.
