3/22/19 - Mason chimney fire, 1718 W Columbia Rd

Shortly after 7 PM on Friday, March 22, 2019, the Mason Fire Department was dispatched to a chimney fire in a 2 story farmhouse at 1718 W. Columbia Rd. The Dansville and Delhi Township fire departments were also dispatched on automatic aid. First arriving units had smoke pushing from the chimney and a report of fire visible in a wall inside. Firefighters were able to make quick access inside and stop the fire from spreading any further.
