2/23/19 - Mason house fire, 205 Stevens

The Mason Fire Department responded to a house fire at 205 Stevens St in Mason at approximately 2:40 PM on Saturday, February 23, 2019. Automatic aid was dispatched for the Delhi Township and Dansville fire departments to also respond. Command arrived within seconds of dispatch reporting a single story ranch with heavy black smoke showing. Doing their 360, fire was visible from the back of the structure. Mason Rescue 806 was the first to arrive and their crew entered the residence to quickly knock down the visible fire. Water supply was obtained from a small hydrant right in front of the house. Interior crews sought after and extinguished areas of extension. Extensive overhaul was required to complete extinguishment. No one was injured.
