1/8/17 - Mason basement fire, 318 W. Elm

On Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 9:43 PM, a MABAS box alarm was dispatched for a fire in the basement at 318 W. Elm St in Mason. Firefighters from Mason, Delhi Township and Dansville were dispatched. First arriving command reported a small, one story residence with smoke showing. Rescue 806 was first to arrive and stretched to preconnect lines, one to the basement and one to the first floor. Firefighters quickly located and extinguished the fire. The remaining smoke was ventilated from the structure.
