10/24/17 - Parma-Sandstone Twp camper fire, 3755 Wellman Rd

The Parma-Sandstone Fire Department was dispatched to a camper fire in the driveway of 3755 Wellman Rd at about 2:45 PM on Tuesday, October 24, 2017. While responding command asked that Spring Arbor also be dispatched to assist. On arrival, the camper was already mostly consumed by the flames. First priority was to make sure there was no extension to the attached garage of the home which was only a few feet from the camper. The camper itself was then extinguished and overhaul completed. Spring Arbor Engine 2 provided tank water and manpower to supplement the crew from Parma Engine 2.
