11/3/16 - Meridian Twp fire in an apartment building, 5906 Marsh Rd

On Thursday morning, November 3, 2016, the Meridian Twp Fire Department responded to a report of smoke showing from an apartment building. Firefighters had been on ths scene the night before for a structure fire and had numerous pockets of hidden fire in the walls and ceiling. Firefighters entered the building this time and found more hidden areas of fire. Mutual aid was requested from East Lansing for two truck companies and Mason for manpower. Extensive overhaul was continued inside the building until all areas were cleared for hot spots.
