10/21/16 - Delhi Twp fire in a pole barn, 3351 Sandhill Rd

At 3:42 PM on Friday, October 21, 2016, the Delhi Township Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a pole barn fire with automatic mutual aid from the Meridian and Mason Fire Departments. Dispatch information was a fully involved pole barn with smoke and flames visible to passersby. First arriving command found a pole barn with smoke coming from under the eaves and no exposure hazards. First due Delhi Engine 21 positioned in the driveway and pulled their preconnects to make entry and search for the fire. Second arriving Meridian Truck 93 connected to a hydrant across the street and stretched their LDH to provide Engine 21 with a water supply. Personnel from Mason assisted with ventilation and investigating for extension. The fire was quickly brought under control with no injuries.
