6/3/15 - Dansville relay pumping exercise, Seven Gables Rd
The Dansville Fire Department called upon neighboring departments to assist them with a relay pumping training drill on Wednesday, June 3, 2015. The mission was to supply a deck gun and handline at the end of Seven Gables Rd from a tanker dump site at the corner of Seven Gables & Dexter Tr. Dansville Engine 332, drafting from port-a-tanks, pumped through 600 ft of 5" supply hose to Mason Engine 809. Engine 809 then relay pumped through 900 ft of 4" supply hose to Dansville Engine 331 which was spraying water. Tankers from Dansville, Fowlerville, Leslie, Stockbridge (SAESA) and Williamston (NIESA) shuttled water for the operation. Leroy Twp (NIESA) provided station coverage while Dansville was committed to the training.
