5/4/14 - Windsor Twp live burn training exercise, 8178 E. Vermontville Hwy

On Sunday, May 4, 2014, the Windsor Township Fire Department hosted a training session and live burn exercise in a house at 8178 E. Vermontville Hwy. Windsor Township Emergency Services personnel were joined by firefighters from the Benton Township, Delhi Township, Eaton Rapids Township, Eaton Rapids & Potterville fire departments. Participants were split into groups which rotated through several training stations. After lunch, the house was used for fire sets which the groups observed and extinguished. A final set was then conducted and the home was allowed to completely burn.
