11/8/14 - Ingham Co Tanker Task Force training

The Ingham County Tanker Task Force ran a full scale training exercise in Lansing on Saturday morning, November 8, 2014. The Lansing Fire Department set up an engine to draft from port-a-tanks and operate a master stream while the Dansville Fire Department provided an engine to draft from the Grand River farther upstream as a fill site. Tankers from the Dansville, Delhi Township, Fowlerville, Leslie, Onondaga, Williamston & Windsor Township fire departments shuttled more than 85,000 gallons of water from the fill site to the dump site.
