5/6/12 - Mason car vs tree accident, Hawley Rd & Plains Rd

The Mason Fire Department and Lansing-Mason Ambulance Service were dispatched to a car vs tree accident on Hawley Rd at Plains Rd on Sunday morning, May 6, 2012, at 9:36 AM. Dispatch information was a car on it's side with the patient still in the vehicle. Lansing-Mason Ambulance personnel arrived on scene 3 minutes later and found the car on it's wheels with the patient laying next to it, no entrapment. EMS personnel immediately began resuscitation of the gravely injured occupant. Firefighters assisted EMS and manned traffic control points when they arrived. Troopers from the Michigan State Police conducted the accident investigation.
