10/23/12 - Mason house fire, 130 Rayner
At 12:54 PM on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, the Mason Fire Department responded to a report from a neighbor of smoke coming from a house at 130 Rayner St. When firefighters arrived there was light smoke coming from the roof vents of the house, which appeared to be vacant. Command requested mutual aid for an engine and manpower from the Delhi Township Fire Department. Rescue 806 pulled up out front, deployed their preconnects and prepared for attack while Tanker 811 laid LDH from a hydrant north of the scene for water supply. When all crews were ready, the house was opened up and positive pressure was used to assist with locating the fire. Rescue 806 crews made entry and found the fire to finish extinguishment. The fire was quickly brought under control with no injuries.
