6/23/10 - Leslie garage fire, 3920 Tuttle Rd

At 9:55 PM on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, during an approaching thunderstorm, the Leslie Fire Department was dispatched to 3920 Tuttle Rd for a garage fire. First arriving command reported smoke showing from an unattached garage that contained hazards such as vehicles and liquid oxygen. Mutual aid assistance was requested early from the Onondaga and Mason fire departments due to the potential hazard involvement. Leslie firefighters gained entry through the pedestrian door and discovered a small fire which was quickly extinguished. The garage doors were forced open for ventilation and overhaul.
