4/12/10 - Delhi Twp house fire, 3441 Harper Rd

On Monday, April 12, 2010, neighbors called 911 to report a house on fire at 3441 Harper Rd in Alaiedon Twp. The Delhi Township Fire Department responds to this area and arrived a few minutes later to find light smoke showing from the roof of a single story wood frame ranch. As firefighters prepared to make entry, mutual aid was requested from the Mason Fire Department for an engine & tanker. Firefighters discovered a fire along the exterior of the garage wall with extension into the wall to the attic space above the garage. The fire was quickly controlled but extensive overhaul was required. The residents were not home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries.
