This year's annual tanker task force training was conducted near downtown Lansing. Tankers were supplied by a draft from the Grand River and shuttled water to fire apparatus supplying master streams in simulation of a failure of the city's hydrant system. Departments participating in this exercise included the Dansville, Delhi Twp, Eaton Rapids City, Eaton Rapids Twp, Hamlin Twp, Lansing, Leroy Twp, Mason, Meridian Twp, Onondaga Twp, Stockbridge and Williamston fire departments.
